What is the Heart Gallery of Volusia, Flagler & Putnam Counties?
The Heart Gallery is a unique way to connect children in our local foster care system with potential adoptive parents.

Our goal is to present expressive professional portraits of some of our local, precious foster children who are ready for adoption and awaiting their "forever families."

If you're interested, please email beth@heartgalleryhope.org your information so we may mail you our photographers kit.

Each photographer will receive proper accreditation for their work, including directly on the museum mounted prints. We will have a photographers listing on the website to help promote your business.

MAPP CLASSES:
Model Approach to Partnership in Parenting classes are part of your first steps to becoming a foster or adoptive parent. To register for the next orientation, contact Rosalind Workmon or Tiffany Skidmore at (386) 238-4859.

Upcoming classes are as follows:
Orientation Tues or Thurs, 5/11/2010 and 5/13/2010 5:30pm
Classes Tues and Thurs nights 5:30-8:30pm, 5/25/2010 thru 6/24/2010

Orientation Sat, 9/11/10 9am-12pm
Classes Saturday 9am-4pm, 9/25/2010 thru 10/23/2010

MENTOR A CHILD PROGRAM:
Mentor a young adult and change a life. Through the mentorship program, young adults aging out of foster care are teamed with a supportive community volunteer to help them transition into adulthood and independence. Serving as a mentor is about sharing time and knowledge and giving of yourself. Helping a child realize their potential will allow them to follow their dreams and have the insight in believing that THEY CAN DO IT!
